There is an issue with view by folder missing on Android TV for some. It is being looking into. Seems to be folks with Sony’s for some reason. It was not intentionally removed
If I go one level up, I am at the home page as shown in the screenshot. There is no “Discovery” view that you mentioned with newly added content. I recall I used to have that “Discovery” view, but it is no longer there after some updates a couple of weeks ago.
Can you try clearing app cache other user did that and it solved it for him. Folder Browsing
Hey mate, I had the exact issue you are having, even with the most recently update of the Plex app.
If you uninstall the app and then install it again, it solved the issue for me.

Unfortunately the issue occurred again after one day. The app still appeared buggy.
Yes yes yes, I’m ranting a long time about this as well and hate the stupidity of “recommended” and “similar” and sh*t like that: I want JUST MY FOLDERS PLEEEEASE!!! A lot of us have pretty clear plan and system what EXACTLY to listen and how to organize it.
I have found THE solution: install the Hi-Fi Cast app for Android, enable UPnP in your PLEX playback device and enable DLNA in your PLEX server device. Enjoy the missing folder-view

Why is this basic and necessary feature missing?
I’m trying to use Plex for audio books and the book was detected with Various Artists as well as the author. My only recourse is to manually fiddle with meta data so I can properly go through an audio book in the right order. If a folder view existed this wouldn’t be required.
