What happened to the settings in the download feature?
I’m sure I used to be able to select the quality for a download on a per show or movie basis but now I only have a single broad setting of original, high, medium or low.
This seems like a big step backwards.
I used to be able to download movies in reasonably high quality and then set a lower quality for a TV show with lots of episodes so as not to use up all my storage but now this simply isn’t possible.
Does anyone know if they are likely to bring this functionality back?
I was also annoyed when I realised the ability to set the quality level when casting had also disappeared.
As a long time plex user and lifetime plex pass holder I might have to seriously consider a switch to jellyfin if they keep removing functionality.
Are they trying to get rid of users with their own library by slowly removing useful functionality a piece at a time?
