Plex app crashes on iPad

Hi there
I have updated my iPad Air 2 to the latest iOS 15.6.1 and I am using the latest version of the Plex app but for a few days now the app crashes immediately after start-up and goes back to the iPad home screen.

Is this a known issue? Any fixes out there?
