Plex App Lag on PS3 (Audio Library Specific)

Most of the issues being raised are coming from folks streaming video via Plex, so it seemed appropriate to start a new topic for this particular issue.

My media server is primarily housing a rather large library of music stored in FLAC format and the PS3 is connected to the network wirelessly.  The first sign of an issue is in scrolling through the artists on the "All Music" page of the app.  I can't scroll too far before things "hitch" for a few seconds before loading.  The "hitch" will occur again if I continue to scroll too quickly.  When it comes to playback, there is a delay of maybe 20-25 seconds before a song will begin to play.  This happens regardless of a track being cued up individually during a library browse or if an album is set to play all the way through (i.e. the delay occurs between tracks 1 and 2 of a given album).

When pulling music down using the Plex Home Theater app on a laptop similarly connected via WiFi (in the same room as the PS3, even), there is a barely perceptible delay, perhaps a second or so before playback begins, so it's not an issue with the network or server.

I'm assuming this is an issue with the app still needing some optimization tweaks, but I wanted to bring it up in case anyone can point me to a setting that might be messing me up (if I have the "play music on a delay" box checked somewhere or something like that).

Having gotten all of that out of the way, let me say thanks to the team for creating a great app.  Even for these flaws, it's a thing of beauty.
