Plex app missing the & for a login?

I am testing out Plex on my home nextwork with TVs, PC and phone/tablet. I was trying to set the app up on my main smart tv. I had all my acct info and had logged into the acct everywhere (except the main room TV).

Guess what - the PLEX APP for the smart TV - the login does not have the “&” you can enter to login with your password!

WTH?

Which brand Smart TV do you have? What OS does it run? It should have a code you need to enter at https://plex.tv/link , not a regular U/Password fields. ( unless it is Roku which we use their onscreen keyboard that does have an @ symbol)
