Plex App on my TV Crashing or Freezing All The Time

Hi Plex Support!

I have an LG TV OLED65B6P with LG WebOS 3.0(05.30.90) and that is the latest available OS for this TV. NOTE: I cannot upgrade my TV to WebOS 4 or 5. I have a Plex App installed on it and the latest version available for my WebOS.

My problem is that my Plex App on my TV is so buggy that it crashes a few times per day and EVERY TIME if I rewind or forward any video and I can’t even restart it because there is no such option to restart an app. After I rewind/forward a video it goes into an infinite buffering, buffers every 5-10 seconds and even when restarting the movie from scratch it does the same thing. Sometimes I can’t even go back when it starts buffering. The only thing that works is not using plex for an hour or two and using other apps on my tv before I can use it again. It also takes a really long time to load ANY page, it is the slowest app on my TV. There is also no option to restart the APP. There should be an option to restart the app within the app itself. There is a problem with that app and newer versions of PMS. We are still investigating. You can read about the issue at Plex App LG WebOS keeps buffering every second after fast-forward and resume.
