as far as DTS MA and Dolby True HD go i was not expecting Apple to pass these as Roku doesn’t either , thats why i have a windows PC as my server and Plex home Theater 
BUT down mixing to AC3 is a crime if true, also wouldn’t lossless PCM require the player to decode both? thats not going to happen if thats the case but for every day use core bitrates are fine.
New Apple TV acquired. Plex app installed. Very, very pleased.

Definitely loving the app, wouldn’t have bought and ATV4 if it wasn’t for the app!! 1 of 2 ATV3’s replaced, now to get the other one done and remove Plexconnect!
