PLex app player no longer playing HEVC files after 03feb2025 update

Urgent urgent
My Plex app for android, before the auto update of Feb 3rd,2025, my Plex app played ALL h.265/HEVC files no problem. After your last AUTO update Feb 03, 2025 to your Plex app (with NO changes made on my android) my Plex app no longer plays h265/HEVC video files.
It somehow affected the Plex apps inherient player. So why would your latest update no longer allow us to play h265 HEVC many android phones on your Plex apps player? this is an issue with many other Plex users. can we roll back to previous Plex version?

Or will there be another update to allow many of us to continue to use our Plex apps to play h265/HEVC files?

Also your info says my SM-A536W IS compatible as seen on attached.

Another thread is reporting SAME here.

I have a 1080P h265 video file on the server.

If I copy the 265 video file onto the tablet then it can be played in VLC.

If I try to play the local 265 video file directly in plex it will fail.

If I try to play the 265 in plex from the server then:

It fails. “An error occurred while attempting to play this video. Please check your connection”

If I use external player in plex (VLC) then it plays ok

If I disable Enable HEVC video Encoding (experimental) on the server, then the client will try to play the h265 file, which will fail, then the server will transcode to h264 and the client will succeed in playing back the file (albeit converted to 264).

Issue:

There is an issue with plex client not being able to playback 265 videos however VLC can play the same file. The issue is compounded by the plex client telling the server it is h265 capable, so that any transcoded video is also sent using the new 265 option."
