Recently received a Toshiba Fire TV edition. Plex app seems to be unavailable through the Amazon App store. Totally disappointed, we use Plex on the Fire TV Stick on another TV in the house.
SO, is this something that may become available in the future? What other options to I have to use Plex with my Fire TV?
A lot of other people have had this issue. I’ve had it for a few months with my in-laws. On a computer (not the mobile app). go to this page, on the right, you should see “you already own this app”. Under that, you “should” see a button with your device name above it. Allows you to push the app to install on the Toshiba TV.
However, others have said this works, and some say it doesn’t. It appears plex is looking into the issue. Toshiba might be trying to block it.

Compatibility with your devices (Red X at the left of my device).
Any idea how to fix it?

I own two Toshiba Fire TVs. The big one, maybe 42 inches works with the Plex app just fine. The smaller one maybe 32 inches doesn’t support it. There are many workarounds but thats why some people have luck and others not. It depends on the model of toshiba fire tv

+1 I don’t see why Plex should be unavailable here - even my 1st gen Fire Stick works, just not tuff Toshiba tv??

Good news! I was able to get Plex added to the Toshiba TV at my In-laws finally.
