Yes to interface. Tried hdmi on/off. No passthrough. The pc outs to a fairly new Samsung tv. Sound volume is maxed/not muted in plex app. Windows volume mixer ditto (and the plex app is also maxed). Do you have “exclusive mode” enabled? Do you have another app running at the same time, which also has exclusive mode enabled in its settings? This means that whichever app is started first, is reserving the audio interface exclusively and all apps started after that don’t get to play any sound.

Tried exclusive on/off. No difference. Nothing else is pre-empting plex either, so far as I can see.
