Plex app won't open on Nvidia Shield

For the past week when I try to log into the Plex app on my Shield the screen will blink briefly but Plex doesn’t open and I’m returned to the Shield’s home page. Very frustrating. I have done the usual step such as clear cash, Data, restart shield. The only thing that work’s temporally is to uninstall the plex app and Plex server from shield then reinstall. I have the same issue after the latest update 1.18.7.2438. Plex, please correct this. Luckily the server is still running and I can access it from other streaming devices.
