Running plex on unraid, i5-12400, 32gb ram, 1tb m2 nvme only for plex. I have the most recent Apple TV 4K w/ ethernet and it’s wired to my router. My internet is fiber 1gb up/down. Using plex the audio is so out of sync that I cant watch anything and it’s frustrating beyond belief. If I turn off match frame rate on the Apple TV it sometimes helps but ofter stuttering is introduced for some reason. I dont know what to do and I sort of regret buying plex pass and spending so much to build a nice streaming box for this. Does anyone know how to fix this? It has nothing to do with transcoding as it happens w/ or w/o transcoding. THANK YOU!
Do you know if these are direct streams or transcoded streams?
It is both. Transcoded files or direct play or forced transcodes.
Sounds like your issue is similar to Apple TV 4K audio sync issues with enhanced player - #408 by xppx99
Try changing to the old player to see if it helps.
