I’ve gotten Plex Arcade to “work” which is great! I can load and play all of the included Atari ROM’s, as well as many of my own from various platforms. The problem I am currently having is scaling. All of the games show as a tiny square in the top left corner of my 55" 4K TV. I know this is because it’s displaying the games at their original resolution. Is there a way that I’m somehow missing to scale the games, or are those of us blessed with any modern display going to have to be stuck staring at a tiny box to play?
Doesn’t your TV have a zoom option?
The game graphics should be scaling to fit the available size (assuming the rest of the Plex interface was displaying correctly. ). Currently the scaling method isn’t controllable leading to some soft edges.
Which Plex device were you running? Which core/platform?
No, and respectfully, that’s also not a solution. Break out the remote, go to settings, zoom in if your TV can, when I’m done zoom out.
I could just click retroarch in less clicks on my android TV and have a better experience, for free.
Android TV needs a lot of love.
A lot of UI needs love too.
So much of the game UI recycles UI elements from video streaming and it comes off pretty jarring. ‘Resume at 0:27’ for a game is a little odd and janky.
I have this exact same problem on my Sony Android TV. Doesn’t matter which core or game I use, it will not display at full size. Is there a solution yet?
That’s honestly such a terrible work around…
I’ve tried multiple cores for N64, Gameboy, Gameboy Advance, etc. Even the free Atari games won’t scale. Plex works fine and displays at a normal resolution, it’s just Plex Arcade that has the problems…
I’m currently using the new Google TV with Chromecast.

any information to resolve this problem? I subscribed to arcade, but for the moment it is not functional, we need to stop the subscription and re-register when the product is functional? We’ve been waiting for this option for a long time

do you have any information on that? My 30-day trial period is over, my subscription is renewed for this month after paying. One more problem, is that I am going to cancel my subscription because I cannot use it on my 4K TV due to resizing, but I do not want to pay again to test if this is working and my 30 day test has been successful. use, like many people …
Unfortunately we’re still waiting for a fix from them. We’ll be sure to update this thread when that happens so you’ll know!

We got the fix from Parsec! So we’ll hopefully roll the new SDK into a release shortly.
