Has anyone successfully used Arcade with Chromecast devices? I have tried on 2 different devices and neither works. It just spins while displaying a “loading” message and then… nothing. I have subscribed to Arcade thinking this basic functionality would work, but I will cancel if this assumption was wrong. Thanks!
out of curiosity, how did you “cast” the game over?
i’m not sure the chromecast supports a) the needed WebRTC functionality and/or b) the controller support so i wouldn’t expect gaming to work on those devices.
I used the same method that I use for all other Plex media. I open Plex on my Android device and cast it through the Plex app. I guess I missed the part that games are different from all the other media in terms of the ability to cast to my TV via Chromecast.
I dont think chromecast supports the arcade natively, i did get it to sort of work but i just did screen mirroring instead
