Plex Browser App refusing to play podcasts (COR Headers issue)

It seems like overnight (this wasn’t an issue last week) suddenly I cannot listen to any podcasts from https://app.plex.tv

Error from my broswer console

Access to audio at ‘https://static1.squarespace.com/static/59d3dbb6f9a61eb1ede7e3c4/t/61dfa6801c761454bd3b6b50/1642047197036/DennisCasey+FINAL.mp3’ from origin ‘https://app.plex.tv’ has been blocked by CORS policy: No ‘Access-Control-Allow-Origin’ header is present on the requested resource.

This isn’t just related to the link above, it is actually happening to about 80% of my podcast that I have now. On the interface the error appears as

An error occurred trying to play “746. Is New Brunswick Covering Up A Deadly Brain Disease?”. Error code: h4 (Not Supported)

Ironically, this is still working just fine in the Plex app, but I would still like to the use the web interface when I’m on my computer.

Nobody is experiencing this issue?

Same here. Although for me it is only affecting three podcasts that all come from the same publisher, leading me to believe that they or their hosting provider changed something on their end.
In any case the podcasts seem to be hosted on https://fireside.fm/
