Plex buffers or doesn’t even start playback on Verizon 5G Home. Internet speeds are very fast - much faster than Comcast cable. When I switch over to my Comcast connection, playback is immediate and no buffering.
Does anyone know how to solve the Verizon 5G Home buffering?
Is it possible that Verizon is limiting bandwidth for the stream?
How is your local network setup? When you change between the internet connections does your server change its default gateway? Make sure you’re not seeing unnecessary redirects when using the Vz 5G connection.
Also, maybe issues with delay/jitter/packet loss on Vz 5G Home?
Speedtest.net web and Windows app show ping times. Android mobile app also shows jitter & packet loss.
Run some tests to the same server over both connections. See if there are any drastic differences.
