Plex burning SRT on webOS

Hi,

For some reason, Plex will burn in SRT subtitles on my LG TV causing performance issues on my Pi 4

Your TV is running WebOS 2, which does not like MKV files, so PMS has to change the container to MP4. When this happens, it can’t direct play the subtitles anymore so they have to get burned in.

That is not true. Playing through DLNA or XPlay works just fine (Direct Play).

They don’t. If the option ‘Automatic’ would’ve worked properly, subs wouldn’t get burned in.
