Plex cannot find file on any device, except mobile

So this was a new one, and very weird.

My plex library has been working pretty much flawlessly for a few years now, but suddenly I am getting an error regardless of what movie I want to watch:

Please check that the file exists and the necessary drive is mounted.

This happened on my android-tv, and when trying to use plex.tv

I havent dont any changes to any files, and I have verified that all files are present and accounted for on disk.

To make this even more weird all files work perfectly on my android phone (I have plex lifetime subscription)

I tried downloading the logs, but there are a lot of them and lots of data, so I don’t know exactly what would be important to share to help you help me.

Please advice, because this sucks.

That is super weird. Is it possible that you have more than one Plex server running and the phone’s looking at one server, and the other clients at another?

Is the file perhaps stored on the phone ONLY ?
(Was downloaded at some point and that fact forgotten ?)

I honestly have no idea how this was even possible, every movie I tried on my phone worked fine, without it having been downloaded before.

The fault was that the plex-server had lost a mounting to the nas-folder, and that makes complete sense… It still had the metadata, but couldnt access the folder. Still have no idea why it worked on the phone, but it’s fixed now. Thank you all for looking into it.
