Plex cannot see media folders

Hi. I’m having a problem with plex on my raspberry pi seeing subfolders. I’m a bit of a newbie to linux so I would appreciate any help you can give. I have set plex to run as user ‘pi’ in the plexmediaserver.prev file and mounted the drive to /home/pi/media, but plex is still unable to drill down into the external usb drive. It sees the drive, but cannot go any deeper. I suspect permissions is the issue, but I’m unable to diagnose how to fix. Thank you for any help you can give. Jim
