Plex can't background play like other music apps

Most modern music players on the xbox (Spotify etc,) let you play music in the background while playing your game.

For example, I love to listen to music while playing online poker, but Plex is incapable of playing in the background. Can this be fixed? In the meantime I’m listening to Spotify and their stupid ads and would much rather be listening to Plex.

Should I make a feature request or am I better off not getting my hopes up?
