Hi,
Sinds a couple of weeks i’am having some difficulty’s with Plex.
It seems that Plex can’t read my external harddrive anymore.
My hard drive is a LaCie 3TB USB 3.0 and it is connected to my iMac.
As you can see the map finder sees the disk but does not show any folders.
(It is in Dutch language)
When I select a internal harddrive Plex seems to read the folders;
Can anyone help me please.

Maybe a permissions error?
Ok,
Are you running catalina? If so you need to go to:
System Preferences/ Security & Privacy/Privacy
Unlock the padlock bottom left
Left column scroll down to Files and Folders
Move to ( Allow the apps below to access Files and Folders) Right side
Scroll down till you see Plex Media Server
Enable Removable Volumes.
That should fix your issue
