Plex Server Version#: Version 1.41.2.9200
I posted this a year ago, didn’t get any response. Migrated my server to a new machine, still having the same issues. Hopefully someone has some suggestions as to what the issue is.
I’m having an issue with my Plex server when I add photos. When I add photos to the library, the Plex ‘Captured Time’ adds 7 hours to the actual captured (taken) time of the photo.
Case in point:
Photo 1, door, taken on Android phone 10/23/2023 at 4:59pm
Photo 2, tree, taken on Android phone 10/23/2023 at 5:01pm
Android & Windows meta data is accurate as to taken (captured) time. Also, Date Accessed reflects transfer from phone to computer.
When added to Plex, it shows
Photo 1 captured 10/23/2023 at 11:59pm
Photo 2 captured 10/24/2023 at 12:01am
All photos taken after 5pm show as captured the next day in photo library.
This is NOT an Android issue, this also happens with (older) photos scanned and dated and added to Plex. Windows time zone etc is set properly.
Does anybody have any suggestions as to how to correct this?
