This is not a server issue.
Its a plain Client issue.
When using the plex player for Windows playing a movie and switch to fullscreen and back, plex disables Windows’s Desktop HDR Mode. Even after exit Plex, Plex does not fix its attitude.
This is annoying and unwanted behavour. Plex must not alter the windows configuration in any way if not wanted by the administrator and/or user. Going full screen is no reason to alter the Windows Desktop HDR settings in any way.
This MAJOR BUG is reproducable. The only other application which had the same very embarrassing bug is the EPIC Game Launcher. 
There is no workaround but using the web player until its fixed.
