Plex client on amazon firecube gen 2, outputing 2 channel stereo, not ac-3

i have a plex server on tv shield pro, when i watch digital copy via Shield, my AVR plays AC-3 audio. When i play same movie via firecube, i get stereo channels only. I’ve tried adjusting fire cube gen 2, audio setting, but that did not help,

has anyone experienced, and solved, this symptom? thanks

Set Cube (not Plex) audio = Best Available.

Set Plex app audio to Passthrough = HDMI.

Thank you for the suggestion, the challenge i am having, is in finding/navigating to where to set audio, in plex app. i google searched, went into account/audio sub title, but could not find the audio setting.

Plex Docs → Android TV → Settings

In the Plex app: Settings → scroll down to Advanced → Passthrough.

i have made the changes, and it works

my navigation mistake was that, i was looking for audio passthrough on the Plex server located on TV shield Pro, i should have looked for it on the plex client on Amazon Fire Cube.
