I am trying to install the Google TV Plex client onto a TCL 8K series TV but the Plex app is not being listed for installation on the TV. I am located in Australia.
Is this a known issue? Is there any known workaround to get the Plex client installed?
Can one of the developers involved with the Android App and the Google Play Store please check that the Plex app is available for installation on TCL TVs located in Australia. The app is listed on Android phones but not on the TV’s play store. Further, while the app is visible on an Android phone it can not be installed onto the TV as it is not listed as a compatible target device.
Please update this thread to confirm that the Play Store app permissions are correct and appropriate for the app to be installed on the TV in Australia.
