I have a question that probably has an obvious answer. I’m a relatively new plex user and I’ve wondered why does the plex GUI look different on different devices? Plex looks the best on my firestick and the worst on the ATV4K. The GUI on my roku and LG tv are somewhere in the middle. Is there a way to make the GUI more consistent?

I believe that plex is moving towards getting as many clients updated to a more consistent whatever the latest UI version is, it just simply takes time, and not all clients will be able to have a more complex and/or pretty update.
Plex has no proper development process. There’s no central requirements mgmt, bug tracking or release mgmt… All the front ends are developed independently by different devs with some guidance coming from the mothership.
It’s a big mess and nowhere close to what a common SW development process in 2018 would look like.
