I get my Plex Cloud Invite finally after signing up for an invite on the day it was announced. (Back in September). Now that I have it I would like to know if there is a practical answer for how to use it with a storage provider other than amazon. I understand that OneDrive, Google Drive and dropbox are all available. However none of these offer a viable storage solution when compared to amazon drive unlimited. All offer a business option which essentially comes out in the 70-100 dollar range per month. This is acceptable if you are actually business and can pay for this usage. Most people have TB’s upon TB’s of data. None of the three storage providers offered can accommodate this, therefore rendering Plex Cloud useless. I already have amazon drive unlimited with over 10 TB’s of Home Movies, Pictures, Movies, and TV shows. Maybe i am misinformed, and if I am, please correct me, but this whole things seems to be a stalemate without the ability (or even potential) to move the server into the cloud.
Have you looked in the Plex Cloud Forum?
It is littered with discussions on how GSuites for Business only requires you to purchase it for one user ($10 a month) and you get unlimited space…
aha! Thank you. I had not seen that. Exactly why I posted. Thank You!
I got an email about the Plex Cloud beta too, but I don’t have access to the beta forum.
Disreagard. I resynced using the SSO and now it shows up.
