Plex Cloud? Google Drive?

I’ve recently purchased the plex pass with the intent of keeping my movies within my google drive or something similar. Has this option been removed?

I’m just looking for something that I can host outside of my local computer that loves to fall asleep mid movie.

Thanks

Plex Cloud has been discontinued since almost 2 years.
You’re free to rent a root server and install Plex server for Linux onto it.

How about switching off or at least delaying the auto-sleep setting?
I run it on a regular Windows desktop computer, but with the hibernation disabled and all hard drives set to never spin down. It is always available.

I doubt you will have less issues with a remotely hosted machine. Particularly if you’re not a system administrator by profession or passion.

Good points @OttoKerner

I’ll have to look into the local option.

Thank you for helping me out!

@bobdempsey83 If your interested in Ubuntu (even in a VM) you might think about PGBlitz. It’s an automated setup of docker containers that use a google team drive for unlimited storage (but I think you have to get the actual Google Business account which costs $12 a month and it’s well worth it).
