Plex Cloud has been discontinued since almost 2 years.
You’re free to rent a root server and install Plex server for Linux onto it.
How about switching off or at least delaying the auto-sleep setting?
I run it on a regular Windows desktop computer, but with the hibernation disabled and all hard drives set to never spin down. It is always available.
I doubt you will have less issues with a remotely hosted machine. Particularly if you’re not a system administrator by profession or passion.
@bobdempsey83 If your interested in Ubuntu (even in a VM) you might think about PGBlitz. It’s an automated setup of docker containers that use a google team drive for unlimited storage (but I think you have to get the actual Google Business account which costs $12 a month and it’s well worth it).
