Plex collections

There’s already an existing feature suggestion discussing an option to match manually created collections. I suggest you comment/vote in that thread in order to help us avoid distracting or cannibalizing votes. Unless I’m missing some unique aspect of your suggestion I’ll close this thread as a duplicate.

'Match'/'Fix Match' for Collections

The Movie DB has entries for Collections, such as: It might be a nice feature if one could Match a collection using the TMDB ID number. It would allow Plex to grab descriptions and cast information. This might be more difficult for Music libraries. Musicbrainz has ‘Release Series’ that function like Collections, but I don’t know how complete they are.
