My setup is PMS 1.13.0.5023 on Win10 i7-3770 16Gb RAM 500Gb SSD wired GB LAN, storage is on a DS214play wired GB LAN, HDHomeRun PRIME (CableCard) wired GB LAN. Tuner is set to Transcode wile recording in the LiveTV&DVR setup. Have been recording TV shows and movies without problems until a couple updates ago. Now when I open PMP and look at the recording schedule, I’ll typically have about 6 or 8 recorded shows that aren’t ready for viewing and still show the red dot inside a completed red circle. Some of these are even from the day before (Yesterday in Recording Schedule). Task manager shows the same number of instances of Plex Commercial Skipper.exe (32 bit) none using much CPU or Memory, no disk usage, and minimal network bandwidth. If I close PMS or reboot the PC, the recordings are lost. Is there a way to optimize this process so these finish up and complete a little faster?
Plex probably uses the standard version of Comskip. I believe it is much faster if you have a donator version installed. You may want to investigate this option.
