Plex constantly crashes on my Samsung tablet running android when running in background

Hi

On my Samsung SM-T290 Plex crashes when it is running in background mode. I play music from my server while doing some other task.

Normally the app does not survive the duration of one song (3 - 4 minutes) before it stops. When I try to reload Plex I notice that it has restarted (replays the initial animation)
