Please help!
The Plex app on my Apple TV is crashing when navigating the library menu of TV shows. This happens when you select any season of a TV show. The PLEX app immediately closes back to the Apple TV main menu, as soon as you try to select a season of a tv show. I have the Apple TV HD (1080p version).
I downloaded Plex to my LG 55” CX OLED smart tv, and it works perfectly fine. Also, this only started 2 days ago, right after the latest PLEX update.
Anybody else having this problem?
Have you restarted the AppleTV? …mine is working fine,
Yes I have. I’ve re-started it twice and also did a factory restore with no luck.
I’m not the only one who is having this issue. Other people on this forum have mentioned having the same problem too. Seems like it’s only been in the last few days.
Again, I have the Apple TV HD, not the 4K.
Right, that’s what you wrote before - I am using the same one right now v7.1.3 released on 11 Feb.
I just messed about in the library and in seasons etc and I cannot get it to crash.
I wonder what could be different from my setup to yours that means you crash and I don’t.
Yes this is happening to me too! My kids tried to navigate to Season 1 of Double Dare and the app immediately crashed. I’m on the 1080 AppleTV as well.
I really hope they fix this with the next update
By the way, I went out and bought a new Apple TV 4K, and it still crashes back to the Apple TV Home Screen when trying to select a tv season in Plex.
Having exactly the same issue on Apple TV 4K.
I’ll open up Adventure Time, scroll one step down to select the season, and it immediately crashes to the Home Screen.
Oddly enough only happens on this particular show for me.
