It appears that with Recent update 7.14.1 the App for Apple TV is now broken, when viewing TV Shows, selecting your show you want to watch, almost as soon as seasons appears, the app crashes, no explanation it just closes. I have uninstalled reinstalled, made sure server was up to date revoked auth for Apple TV on SS, reauthorized it, problem doesn’t go away. The only way I am currently able to watch is if I use On Deck to Navigate to the episode list bypassing season selection. Is there a work around for this? Not this does not seem to affect any prior version of the app as this just started right after the update. Is there a way to get logs from this device?
I can’t really add anything other than I do not experience this issue and I’m pretty sure this forum would be flooded with bug reports if it were a general issue
Yes, it is.
- Open the plex app on your Apple TV and go to “Settings>Enable log download”
- Open a browser tab and enter the showed URL
http://IP_showed_on_the_left_screen_site:32400/logging
This will download a folder with the logs of the Apple TV to your computer. - Compress the whole folder and upload the zip file here.
