Oh, that’s good news. This specific crash hasn’t been addressed, but another similar crash was so I’m thinking this got automagically fixed by that as well.

I’m running PMS on an Intel NUC running Windows 11 (up-to-date software, firmware, and drivers). The libraries are hosted on a Synology Disk Station running DSM 7.01 update 2
Over the past 7-10 days, the Plex process has crashed numerous times, most recently a few hours ago. The logs are riddled with Transcoding errors - hundreds and hundreds of them. I will upload the logs if anyone finds them useful?
Agreed nothing changed for me with latest PMS (1.25.5.5492)
Specifically I can enable “use hardware acceleration when available” and I see the little (hw) syntax come up on the dashboard. It appears to do partial h/w transcoding (may be just h/w decode) but not fully.
However if I also enable “use hardware accelerated video encoding” then it appears to do no h/w transcoding assist at all. It is when this is enabled that it has hung PMS in the past, so I obviously no longer run with this enabled.
Yup, I did the same - I disabled “video stream transcoding,” “use hardware acceleration when available,” and “use hardware-accelerated video transcoding” and it’s been stable for 24 hours.

I don’t believe it is fixed - I just upgraded to the 1.25.4.5487 version and it crashed when attempting to transcode. Rolling back to 1.24.5.5173 has fixed it.
Do you still have the logs from when you were on 1.25.4?
I don’t have crash logs - I just downgraded back to 1.24.5 as that was the last one I was on with zero crashes. The Media Server Log just looks like this moments before the crash

Can confirm this update seems to have fixed the crashing issue I was experiencing.
Hope those with the H/W transcoding errors see a fix soon as well.
I’m looking for the regular server logs. Please post the entire log. Your snippet doesn’t reveal anything.
