Does the Plex Dance reset watch count of a series?
No, it does not.
At least it never has here, but if I’m Plex Dancing for some reason another click to reset a watched status manually is the least of my worries.
The Plex Dance®:
- remove show/movie from library
- update library
- empty trash
- clean bundles

Great - thanks! The only reason I was asking about watch count was because I wanted to do it on a large scale.
I have never had anything I do mess with a watch status - to the point that it freaks me out at times. I have no idea where that info is stored (nor do I really want to find out), but no matter what I do it’s always maintained.
Logic dictates if you completely remove an item from your Plexiverse, empty the trash and bash it’s bundle over the head then drop it in a lake wearing cement overshoes the watched status would be gone, but nay… not so. LIke the body of your first wife that just keeps turning up.
That does indeed seem odd… Logic was exactly why I asked this question. Alas, I will take full advantage of this mystery to help solve my problem!!
