Plex Watch Status Failing to Remove (Plex online, not local)

I am trying to clear out my watch history and ratings to re-sync. Something was messed up royally and I figured I would start fresh. Anywho, I followed these instructions:

and after a battle with about 250 remaining items staying in my watch list I have it down to 1 item left. I have tried marking it unwatched/watched, changed the watch date, doesn’t matter. It just fails to delete. Do I care about this one rogue entry? No. But I want to make sure that’s not causing some of the corruption to begin with when I re-sync with Plex online for watch history/ratings.

“An Internal Server Error Occurred” and nothing appears in the PMS log.

Thoughts on how I can fix this one rogue item before I re-sync?

If you select the three-dot (vertical ellipsis) menu on the item (in your activity feed) do you have an option to “Remove Activity?”

yes, this is what caused the “an internal server error occurred” message. I can do everything else in that drop down, but I cannot remove that 1 last activity remaining.

So everyone understands how amazing my viewing habits are, it’s for Hoarders S4 E17 haha.

I have tried removing watch status on my local server. I tried changing the date. marking it unwatched, marking it watched. doesn’t matter, this record wont disappear. The date is now 10/5/2024, but it was original 9/2023. So the actual listing can be updated, I just can’t remove the final record.
