Initially I had a boot drive fail and ended up restoring my database from backup. I have had some weird database issues and been doing troubleshooting. I ended up with corruption, fixed the database using ChuckPa’s DBRepair script. Last night I noticed when searching I could not find a particular show that was in my library. Manually found the show in the library to confirm. When doing more troubleshooting I tried searching on my PlexDash app and it hung for a while. SSHd into my Plex server running on Ubunutu and it was showing 100% CPU usage, search never returned anything but it continued the usage and Plex had crashed, restarted the service and we are good to go. Search doesnt crash plex from any of my clients (shield, apple tv, ios app, web app) except plex dash.
I have optimized the database and ran the database check and it returns ok. I even did the auto script from Chuck to verify everything and had the same results this morning on the PlexDash app. Assuming there is a bug with the app and it probably isnt used much?
