Plex Server v1.32.8.7639 installed on Windows 10 Pro
Plex Dash v2.0.3 installed on Samsung S21 FE
I’ve recently upgraded to Plex premium and thought I’d take a look at Plex Dash. However, it keeps crashing. I install it, open it, enter my sign in details, it goes to the server search screen, then closes. I did manage to get it to work once after multiple crashes but now it’s gone back to crashing. Does anyone have any idea what might be going on?
Hmm, I don’t see any reported crashes under your username. Anything interesting in the logcat, assuming you have access?
Thanks, and apologies for taking so long to reply. Are the crash reports something I have to do? And I don’t know if I have access to the logcat. How would I find out?
I’ve done a bit more digging, and I do see your crash reports in our system. Unfortunately the crash seems really obscure, it affects 2 users, both with Galaxy S21. I’m at a bit of a loss right now as to the cause.
Thanks for taking the time to look further into this. And sorry there doesn’t seem to be any cause or fix. Guess I won’t be using Plex Dash any time soon.
