Plex database folder greyed out and saving noticed onto boot drive

Server Version#:OMV 4.1.17-1 Arrakis (on RockPro64)
Player Version#:Version 1.12.1.4885

I am using Plex media server (Version 1.12.1.4885) on OMV 4.1.17-1 Arrakis (on RockPro64)

Noticed (refer image) that the database folder is by default the NAS drive and not the boot drive . However, I noticed that as soon as i setup the plex plugin and started setting up my libraries my boot drive lost close to 5GB (currently shows 2.56GB and keeps increasing as the library is being updated) of space. and on unistalling Plex the boot drive was freed up again, which clearly shows that plex is using the boot drive to store its database.

How can I change the database location. I am unable to make changes on OMV GUI (refer image) as this is greyed out. Can i change this on Plex web gui ? or any other way?

Thanks…

not an expert on OMV… have you considered simply changing the Database Volume as explained in the screenshot you had attached? I don’t think you’re supposed to manually change the folder (beyond changing the volume it resides on).

Hi Tom,

Thank you for your response, the volume currently picked (NAS2) is where the database is supposed to be ideally on. However, what i notice is the capacity being used is under the linux root volume despite the volume NAS2 being picked.
