Plex Desktop App - Store "Zoom" Level

I use the desktop Plex App on Windows 10 with a 65in 4k TV as my monitor. Every time I relaunch the Ctrl + Scroll “Zoom” level of the app is reset. It starts wayyy to close, and this is different that the slider scale bar. I need it Zoomed Out, Please Please Please store this zoom level somewhere to it remembers.

  1. verify that the TV is reporting the accurate pixel dimensions of its panel to your computer. You should be able to see this in the Display Settings control panel of Windows.
  2. Try and find how to disable “Overscan” on your TV. Sadly, many manufacturers rename features in their settings menus, to make them appear as if they are unique to their brand.
On some TV models, you might even have to access the “service menu” (how to do that, you can sometimes find in support forums which are about home cinema etc.), to get access to the overscan setting.

I think this is not even supposed to be available at all.
The only way to adapt the size of the user interface is this slider:

You can certainly Ctrl + Scroll (like any browser). Everything else is correct. The “Zoom” effects the entire page, the left pop out options, how big the center area is, it needs to be storable, settable and savable. The slider does not effect the rest of the areas, just the movie poster sizes, this is not what I need.

I know that it’s possible at the moment.
But I think that the developers did not intend it to be.
Otherwise they wouldn’t have disabled the key shortcuts CTRL+“+” and CTRL+“-”, which do the same resizing in many web browsers.

Well I think they should keep it, just store the zoom level, or add controls for the full UI, the entire thing much to “large” on a 65 inch UHD TV set to 4k Res, this is my primary monitor for my PC. I like using the App vs the browser login, but at least chrome will remember the page size I set it to.
