Yes you can, only thing to be aware of, there is no Native app yet for Apple silicon. So it will use Rosseta 2 for now.

The latest Plex App for Mac requires Rosetta, so it does not support Apple Silicon (M1) natively. I’d really like a version with native support for M1. Are you working on it? Any time estimates? Current Player Version#:1.25.0.1511-47afccd4 Edit: To clarify, I am specifically interested in the player , the Plex App, not the Media Server (I have found several other questions about the latter, but none about the former) Thanks!
