I prefer to sort my libraries by “Date Added” and have them sorted this way after I leave the library and come back to it later. I was able to do so until I updated to the latest version of Plex for Windows 10 today; every time I click onto another library or exit the app and reopen it, the sort order reverts to “By Title.” The issue occurs with all of my libraries of all media types (Video/Movies, Music, Podcasts, etc.). This issue does not occur in the web player, which saves my “sort by” preference on all libraries even when I leave the site and come back later.
To troubleshoot, I uninstalled and reinstalled Plex for Windows 10 and the issue persists. I have a screen recording of the issue available if desired but I cannot upload it here.
I have 2 PC’s one had sticky filters and one didn’t, the difference was the version running when I updated the “working correctly” version to latest Version 1.31.0.2254-43df1e6e then the filters were no longer sticky.

I got hit with this, too. Plex is already beyond annoying having to change between different filters, since it doesn’t let you save views, but forces you to build your view every time. Making me filter and sort every time I click on a library is a major slog.

It seems this is across the board for all users that updated to the recent version (1.31.0.2254-43df1e6e) of Plex for Windows as I’m experiencing the same problem. My library sort preferences are wiped out when I exit a library (Music, TV Show) and come back to it. The default library sort always comes up instead, and I have to sort the library each time. Hope this can be fixed soon. Thanks!
Just installed Version 1.31.1.2262-74fdc6b7 today, and it seems to have rectified the sort preference issues experienced when upgrading to 1.31.0.2254-43df1e6e earlier in the week.
