Plex Desktop will not run on the following PC hardware

Server Version#: 1.29.2.6364
Player Version#: whatever is the newest
<If providing server logs please do NOT turn on verbose logging, only debug logging should be enabled>

Gigabyte Z170X-Gaming 3 F22j BIOS
Intel Core i7 6700K
Windows 10 Pro
16GB Corsair DDR4
Garbage Killer E2400 NIC
Samsung 850 SSD

I have 3 of these systems and NONE of them will run plex. It either runs a few seconds then freezes or I just see a spinning icon after selecting a file to play. Plex runs PERFECTLY on every other thing it is installed on, 3 windows desktops and 5 fire sticks. When it does run the screen flashes and the image looks washed out. I am only playing low bitrate content.

I get the following error in my logs
vo/gpu/d3d11: Failed to create SRV: The GPU instance has been suspended. Use GetDeviceRemovedReason to determine the appropriate action.
Where am I supposed to enter that?

So after some more testing it seems to be it wont play any HEVC Main 10 encoded files. Why can a 4790K with the Intel HD 4600 play these files but a 6700K with the Intel 530 not?

When I go into the server and look at whats playing its always direct play on both machines, no transcoding

Does HEVC 8-bit play OK?

See if hardware decoding is enabled in Plex for Windows. If it is, disable it, then quit & relaunch Plex for Windows, and see if it plays HEVC 10-bit.

In Plex for Windows: Settings → Plex for Windows → Player + Show Advanced → Use Hardware Decoding.

ya I was looking at the settings and noticed HW accel was turned on. I disabled that and they play fine now.
Thanks
