mmm, sorry I’m not a native English-speaker, but … as far as I understand, we don’t have a DV profile correctly supported by Plex: profile 5 is buggy profile 7 is supported (only MEL) profile 8.1 is not supported yet (fallback to HDR10) Am I missing something? Andrea

I noticed this morning that Plex now recognizes Dolby Vision Profile 7 .mkv files created with MakeMKV. [Dolby Vision] Is this new? I didn’t see a software update, but Plex previously displayed these same files as “4K HDR10 (HEVC Main 10)”

Cool - so if this is just an update to how the metadata is displayed in the media info, is Plex Player on Apple TV still discarding the MEL RPU info during playback?
