I know there are tons of topics about this and about renaming a file to standaard…
I did try most of them now but some how it is net working for me.
I did even buy filebot to set files not by hand…
First 8 of the 15 episodes flex do see my naming was serie name - episode - name that workt for 8 of the 15 and other series on the server it works fine.
now i use: Name - 6x01 - Name episode>
But also this do not work for the missing series.
I use flex a ferry long time and never had this problem before.first post with any kind of problem that i could not fix.
Try to fox it for a week by my self no luck
It is is also not in any form of security on the files it is all the same with that do work.
Any one have a pointer to try next

Nut wenn id do that Plex shows 0 series and not the 8 it first found
Please look at the linked article again.
Not only the file name is important, but also the folder structure where this file is situated.
You must not add any folder levels, nor leave out any folder levels.
Your Plex library must be pointed exactly at the “parent” folder, which holds all the folders of your various tv shows.
so my tv files use the s01e01 format in the correct parent folders for tv and movies etc. i run a windows server and an linux server pointing to the same nas folders. if i make changes ie delete rename or whatever, sometimes the season will not show certain episodes…but oddly…linux and windows are seldom in agreement: example: linux server will show episodes: 1,2,4,5,6,8 (missing 3 and 7) windows server will show episodes 1,2,3,7,8 (missing 4 and 5). I tell my family to just watch the season using both servers…lol…but no matter what I try to do the only way i can fix it, is to delete the entire library and add it back. I guess the new scanner method is to delete and start over.
Please do also tell which agent has been selected in the properties of your tv show library and which folder has been added as the library root folder.
This made a new folder out side my movie folder
I:\Media\TV Shows
2. In plex i made in libraries tv shows and made it to the folder I:\Media\TV Shows
3.rescan plex and it was ready in tv shows
Thx for the pointers it looks really col on my samsung tv now even has sory line of season and plays back ground serie ost music.
