Hello all. I’m new to Plex and to this community but I do have an IT background. My problem is quite simple. Whenever I select a title (movie, tv show, etc.) to watch on my Apple TV 4K, Plex will come back and list the “sources” where I can get it from. Perfect so far …
In my case, I have defined Netflix, Amazon Prime Video and my personal media server. Everything works except for anything on Prime (or CTV for that matter). Plex sends me to the corresponding download page (App store in my case) and wants me to download the corresponding app when there is no need to. If I do instruct it to download it, Plex suddenly seems to realize that the app is already installed and launches it but … Plex does not pass on any of the search info that I initiated earlier, resulting in me having to type in another search in the Prime Video app. Not very useful …
I do not have this integration issue with Netflix. Any help would be greatly appreciated. From what I can see, others are also having this issue.
