New user premium from Viet Nam, currently I would like to see my movies purchased on Apple TV by plex player, but I couldn’t setup streaming service on plex server. I just receive information as below:
There are no other streaming services currently available in your region: Vietnam. If you believe this is an error, please report it to the Plex Forums.
How can I solve this problem ? please help
If you purchased movies from Apple for the AppleTV, you must use Apple’s “Apple TV” app.
Apple’s streaming content is proprietary and cannot be streamed by Plex.
To use Plex’s streaming, or connect to your Plex server, you simply install the Plex AppleTV app and sign into your account.
I suppose the OP‘s question is more focusing on why the Apple TV streaming service isn’t listed as an available source for discover in Vietnam (guessing that might be the case).
@phamvuanh : keep in mind, even with the service being recognized as an available streaming provider, this will not list content you purchased within the Apple ecosystem as available content… only if a video (movie/show) is available with Apple TV in general.
If this service isn’t available to select, the data source used by Plex might not list Vietnam as a region where this streaming provider is available.
