Plex does not remember play time of web shows

Client: NVIDIA Shield TV 8.9.2.21619

Since a few weeks ago, Plex stopped remembering the play time of web shows.
So if I watch a long web show until half, when I come back and try to resume the show, it has forgotten I already have watched half of it and starts playing over from the start.

Until a few weeks ago I did not have that problem and this is pretty frustrating given my unreliable memory to remember how long I had watched…
