They advertise the ability to access local media but that’s a lie. I have local media but the crap doesn’t work.
Define local media.
If you talk about media on your harddrives, then it 4 sure works, since that’s what Plex is all about.

That is good to know. I have over 35000 videos (TV and movies) and for the last four or five years my Plex system has been not working to play them. I guess it has just been my fertile fantasy life that has allowed me to believe I have actually been watching them.
Of course it could be that the Plex overlords have just been beaming the fantasy of proper operation into my mind through my TV’s neural interface.
