I installed Plex on Synology DSM6 by following the guide.
But when I click on “OPEN”, Plex open a new tab with what looks liek the Plex client.
It shows online content and never asks me to create a new server.
What should I do?
IT also does this weird thong where I can’t access anything (“no soup”) but if I switch to another account and back to my main account then I see the online content.
Make sure to open this new server through its local IP address in order to finish the setup (http://[Syno IP address]:32400/web) only after finishing the setup, the new server will show up under your account when you’re using another Plex app (incl. https://app.plex.tv/desktop which is the link you use when using the Open option from within the Syno app center IIRC)

That was it but with a twist:
I had assigned a local network DNS to the Synology.
When I used the DNS in the navigator, it didn’t ask to create a new server.
But when I used the IP itself it worked.
